Eagle clock – lapis lazuli
The classic mantel clock is made according to old Russian technologies of the 19th century from environmentally friendly materials: bronze, lapis lazuli, marble. Bronze clock elements are additionally hand-chased by master artists.
In the manufacture of clocks, colossal manual labor is used to ensure that these products have the most textured pattern, similar to the natural one. The artist needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After embossing and processing, the bronze elements are covered with a patina.
Each stone has its own color scheme. The pattern of the stone is selected by the master in such a way that the lines of the pattern smoothly pass from one to the other, creating the effect of a single stone. Each clock made is unique and may differ from the photographs presented on the site.
The clock case is made of natural lapis lazuli.
The items displayed in the Hermitage are made using the Russian mosaic technique. The clock uses classic Citizen movements. All clock models are subject to repair, they can be disassembled, cleaned and, if necessary, reassembled, giving them their original appearance.
Manufactory clockes of the Sentiabev are unique products in a single copy.
