Mycenaean Clock – Tiger’s Eye
The interior table clock is made according to the classic Russian technologies of the 19th century from natural materials: bronze, gilding, tiger’s eye. The bronze elements of the clock are made using the technology of manual casting into a mold.
Colossal manual labor is used in the manufacture of clockes. The master needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After minting and processing, the bronze elements are covered with natural 24 carat gold.
Each stone has its own texture. The pattern of the stone is selected by the master in such a way that the lines of the pattern smoothly pass from one to the other, creating the effect of a single stone. Each clock made is unique and may differ from the photographs presented on the site.
The clock case is made of natural semi-precious stone – tiger’s eye.
The items displayed in the Hermitage are made using the Russian mosaic technique. The clock uses classic reliable Citizen movements. All clock models are subject to repair, they can be disassembled, cleaned and, if necessary, reassembled, giving them their original appearance.
The combination of stone and bronze gives Sentyabrev’s models a special artistry and sophistication.
