Malachite clock Portico
€ 22576
The mantel clock is made according to old Russian technologies of the 19th century from environmentally friendly materials: bronze, malachite. Bronze clock elements are additionally hand-chased by master artists.
In the manufacture of clockes, colossal manual labor is used to ensure that these products have the most textured pattern, similar to the natural one. The artist needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After minting and processing, the bronze elements are covered with natural 24 carat gold.
Each stone has its own unique characteristic. The pattern of the stone is selected by the master so that the lines of the pattern smoothly pass from one to the other, creating the effect of a single stone. Each clock made is unique and may differ from the photographs presented on the site.
The clock case is made of natural semi-precious stone malachite.
The technique of Russian mosaic is to create the illusion of a solid stone and emphasize the natural beauty of the stone. The clock uses Hermle spring mechanisms with a classic beat or a melody that can be turned off. During manufacture, manual assembly is used, which allows the clock to be disassembled, cleaned and, if necessary, reassembled. All models are subject to repair.
A clock is a symbol of time and, undoubtedly, one of the most suitable gifts for a person in an important and serious position. Especially in such a painstaking and meticulous design, where every detail has been hand-polished by a master clockmaker.
