Jewelry box Surprise lapis lazuli

The Jewelry Box is made according to the classic Russian technologies of the 19th century from natural materials: Bronze, Lapis Lazuli. The bronze components of the Jewelry Box are made by casting and subsequent hand chasing by the artist of small details on bronze.
Colossal manual labor is used for the production of each Jewelry Box. The master needs to repeat as accurately as possible the elements of nature in a static material – bronze. After embossing and processing, the bronze elements of the Jewelry Box are covered with natural 24 kt gold.

The body of the Jewelry Box is made of natural semi-precious stone lapis lazuli.
Items exhibited in the Hermitage were made using the technique of Russian mosaic. All models of Jewelry Boxes are repairable, they can be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled if necessary, giving them their original appearance.
The harmonious proportions of the Jewelry Box and the excellent workmanship give this piece a special sophistication.
