The mechanical mantel clock is made using the technique of Russian mosaic according to the technology of the 19th century. Small bronze elements of the clock are minted by hand; natural lapis lazuli stone is used in the product.

The stone-cutting technique of Russian mosaic is considered the pinnacle in the art of creating curved products from natural stone. Items exhibited in the Hermitage were made using the technique of Russian mosaic.
All clock models are repairable, they can be disassembled, if necessary, cleaned and reassembled, giving them their original appearance. The clock uses Hermle mechanical movements with a classic strike or a melody that can be turned off.
