Clock Bovary lapis lazuli, patina
Mechanical table clock is made in the technique of Russian mosaic according to the technology of the 19th century. Small bronze elements of the clock are minted by hand; the natural stone lapis lazuli, spectacular and original in terms of texture, is used in the manufacture.
After the processing of bronze, the bronze is covered with a patina according to old technologies.
Each stone has its own texture, the pattern of the stone is selected by the master so that the lines of the pattern smoothly pass from one to another, creating the effect of a single stone. Each clock made is individual and may differ from the photos presented on the site.
The stone-cutting technique of Russian mosaic is considered the pinnacle in the art of creating curved products from natural stone. Items exhibited in the Hermitage were made using the technique of Russian mosaic.
All clock models are repairable, they can be disassembled, if necessary, cleaned and reassembled, giving them their original appearance. The clock uses citizen quartz movements.
The harmonious proportions of the clockes and the excellent workmanship give this piece a special sophistication.
