Clock Baroque II Karelian birch
€ 1039
Mechanical mantel clocks are made according to old Russian technologies of the 19th century from natural materials: bronze, Karelian birch. Small bronze elements of the clock – decorative ornament, veins, twigs, leaves – are minted by hand.
In the manufacture of clockes, colossal manual labor is used to ensure that these products have the most textured pattern, similar to the natural one. The artist needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After embossing and processing, the bronze elements are covered with French gilding.
