Clock Arch big malachite, gilding
This gift mantel clock is made using the technique of Russian mosaic using the technique of the 19th century. The clock is created by means of hand chasing by a master of small details on bronze; In production, only natural material is used – malachite.
After processing the bronze, the bronze is covered with natural gold.
Each stone has its own unique feature, the pattern of the stone is selected by the master in such a way that the lines of the pattern smoothly merge into one another, creating the effect of a single stone. Each clock made is individual and may differ from the photos presented on the site.
The stone-cutting technique of Russian mosaic is considered the pinnacle of the art of creating figured products from natural stone. The items displayed in the Hermitage are made using the Russian mosaic technique.
All clock models are subject to repair, they can be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled if necessary, giving them their original appearance. The clockes use Hermle mechanical movements with a classic beat or a melody with the ability to turn off .
