Bovary clock – polished malachite

The classic table clock is made according to the classic Russian technologies of the 19th century from natural materials: Bronze, Malachite. Small bronze elements of the clock – decorative ornament, veins, twigs, leaves are minted by hand.
For the production of each clock, colossal manual labor is used. The artist needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After embossing and processing, the bronze elements are polished by hand.

Each stone has its own color scheme. The pattern of the stone is selected by the master so that the lines of the pattern smoothly pass from one to the other, creating the effect of a single stone. Each manufactured clock is one-of-a-kind and may differ from the photographs presented on the site.
The clock case is made of a spectacular and original texture of the natural stone malachite.
Items exhibited in the Hermitage were made using the technique of Russian mosaic. The clock uses classic reliable Citizen movements. During manufacture, manual assembly is used, which allows you to disassemble the clock, clean it and reassemble it if necessary. All models are repairable.
The harmonious proportions of the clockes and the excellent workmanship give this piece a special sophistication.
