Baroque clock II fr. Gilding
€ 2710
Classic mantel clocks are made according to old Russian technologies of the 19th century from natural materials: bronze, malachite. The clock is created by hand by an artist who engraves small details on bronze.
In the manufacture of clockes, colossal manual labor is used to ensure that these products have the most textured pattern, similar to the natural one. The artist needs to repeat nature in a static material – bronze. After embossing and processing, the bronze elements are covered with French gilding.
Collection: Baroque 2
The fantastic pattern of malachite, recreated in the technique of “Russian mosaic”, the play of tones and shades once again convinces that malachite is really the “king of Russian gems”. Each clock made is unique and may differ from the photographs presented on the site.
The clock case is made of natural material – malachite.
The items displayed in the Hermitage are made using the Russian mosaic technique. The clock uses Hermle spring mechanisms with a classic beat or a melody that can be turned off. During manufacture, manual assembly is used, which allows the clock to be disassembled, cleaned and, if necessary, reassembled. All models are subject to repair.
The author’s products of Sentyabrev are not inferior to the models presented in the best museums in the world.
