WHERE DOES IT START
Sketch first. The artist draws the sketch, the sketch is approved and sent for creation and digital processing.

After receiving a digital copy of the art drawing, the drawing is handed over to the wax master. Using imagination and artistic talent, a wax artist sculpts a new piece of wax.

The work of an artist requires very high qualifications and skill. Making a wax model is even more difficult than making a sculpture. To get a sculpture, the sculptor has a voluminous lump and cuts off everything unnecessary from it, and the wax artist has only a void in which he puts wax, creating a new model.

WAX MASTER
21st century technology has made it possible to replace the wax artist with a 3D printer. A modern 3D printer can replicate a drawing exactly and create a 3D model out of nothing.

Well, I am sure! Unlike a wax artist, a 3D printer cannot create a product that has artistic value. It’s like a photograph and a painting painted by a master.

CASTING TECHNOLOGY XIX CENTURY
The resulting 3D wax model is sent to the molding production. The model is immersed in a clay flask. The flask is sealed, the molding mixture is poured inside. Once dry, the molding sand fills in all the voids inside, preserving the pattern.

The flask is installed in a kiln, which is a large brick kiln in which the wax is heated and melted according to a special program. The maximum temperature is limited to 170 degrees, otherwise the wax will catch fire and the model will be lost. This is one of the most critical operations. If the flask bursts in the kiln, the wax will leak out and the model will have to be re-sculpted.

FEATURES OF BRONZE CASTING
After removing the flask from the furnace, turn it over and fill it with liquid molten bronze. Metal, shimmering, fills all the voids of the wax model.
After the metal has cooled down, the flask is knocked out, that is, together with the bronze part, the molding mixture is knocked out, the molding mixture is carefully separated from the bronze, obtaining the first rough bronze model of the product.

Even the modern technology of casting bronze does not make it possible to obtain a product using small parts at the exit from the furnace.

FUTURE ANTIQUES
Bronze has its own fluidity. The filling process cannot be instantaneous. While the bronze is being poured, at the same time the metal is cooling down, the metal reduces its fluidity and the pattern does not repeat the original.
Today, the production of products using the casting technology of bronze is a colossally expensive technology. It is much easier and cheaper to produce a product by stamping.
But products using a machine method of production will never become antique.
In the company “Sentyabrev” all products are made by hand, taking into account ancient traditions. Each piece of furniture is unique, has artistic value and later becomes an antique.
RUSSIAN PATTERN ON METAL
People really want the bronze casting, which is used in interior accessories – watches, busts, vases and caskets, to have some kind of jewelry affinity.
Man is a part of nature, and in order to repeat it as textured as possible, right down to fingerprints, all this must be minted and painted individually and by hand. This is how the technology of minting Russian appeared metal.
If we are talking about a bust, the finished bust should have an almost complete illusion that the person next to the bust is sitting next to a living person.
That is, eyebrows, eyelashes, skin texture, wrinkles, folds on the face, hair, hairstyle – all this is completely traced in the same way as sculptors on marble.

JEWELRY QUALITY
Russian embossing fills in any drawing; the manufacture of a part requires a lot of chasing work on bronze. A very expensive process, with casting technology, there is no other way to small parts.

Natural ornament – for example, leaves, twigs, bark, leaf structure, main veins, minor small veins, all of this repetitive nature – is completely stuffed with your hands.

We achieve almost gem quality of our products.

NATURAL MALACHITE
For the manufacture of vases, boxes and other accessories, natural malachite is used in the production. The stone is practically not used in the massif. Malachite is a porous stone containing voids, soil parts, copper ore and other impurities. Only small pieces of a few centimeters can be made from a solid malachite stone.

The Hermitage contains 2 vases made of huge blocks of malachite, they are indeed made of solid malachite, but these are the only known large items made of solid malachite. No more such blocks were found.

Malachite with gold looks most impressive.

RUSSIAN MOSAIC
The technique of Russian mosaic is to create the illusion of a solid stone and emphasize the natural beauty of malachite.

Malachite itself does not have a finished pattern and is not symmetrical.

If we represent a four-leaf clover, then malachite has one, rarely two leaves in its design. To emphasize the beauty of natural stone, stone cutters lay the malachite pieces in such a way that the third and fourth petals are visible.

The technique of Russian mosaic is unique and allows you to create the illusion of a solid stone and make the pattern of natural malachite as symmetrical as possible.

PARTS POLISHING
After making the parts of the product, each element is subjected to manual polishing.

Smooth surfaces of products are brought to a mirror-like state, giving the required shine.

Depending on the model, polished bronze parts are coated with natural gold, silver or chemically oxidized (patina).

TECHNICAL CONTROL
Every detail, every element of the product undergoes technical control for compliance with the required parameters.

The dimensions, the quality of the stone seams, the absence of cavities and bubbles in the bronze parts, the uniformity of the coatings and some other parameters are checked.

Only after passing the inspection stage, the part gets to the assembly site.

ASSEMBLY SITE
The assembly of interior items is also unique. Unlike Asian and even European products, Sentyabrev’s accessories and furnishings are assembled in such a way that they can be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled if necessary.

All products are subject to repair. If necessary, you can replace the broken crystal vase bowl or the bronze element. Where mechanical connections cannot be used, special glue is used. There is a gluing technology that allows you to repair and clean glued products.

THE ENDING
When the product is completely ready, it must be packaged.

The production uses manual assembly of the Sentiabrev branded packaging. For each product, gift wrapping with the company logo is made by hand.

Each piece is unique. The peculiarities of casting, embossing, processing and gilding, the structure and design of the stone and even the unique branded packaging made by hand make it possible to assert that there is no other exactly the same product on the planet.
